The device placed on your water heater is a different device. It’s a load control switch, not a water heater timer. If you would like to set schedules for your water heater during peak times, you can purchase a water heater timer by using the links above or at home improvement store.
Members previously enrolled in the program will no longer receive an annual rebate for participating in control events. Horry Electric will no longer be controlling smart thermostats during peak periods. The rate structure gives members control of their bill and it is up to each member if they want to control their smart thermostat in their home during peak hours.
