Electric Cooperative Washington Youth Tour for High School Juniors
The annual Washington Youth Tour is a week-long, all expenses paid trip to the nation’s capital, each summer for current high school juniors (rising seniors). Selected youth representatives will experience Washington D.C. with nearly 1,500 high school juniors from across the United States. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with lawmakers and tour all of the sights.
Horry Electric sponsors up to four (4) representatives from Horry County to participate in the Washington Youth Tour. Interested juniors will need to submit an application and participate in a personal interview as part of the selection process.
The deadline for 2026 is 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
